Take five tablets three times per day, preferably with a meal, to increase milk supply. We know 5 tablets, 3 times a day is a lot so let us explain. Continue this dosage for 2 weeks, then stop completely.

If you return to work full time take the full dosage of 15 tablets a day until pumping and breastfeeding are well established (often 2 weeks or more) and you are regularly getting the amount of milk you need from pumping. After that you may begin the tapering off process (see the previous question), however many women who pump regularly find that maintaining a low dosage (3-12 tablets per day) is extremely helpful because of the let-down enhancing qualities of Lactiful.
